This painting was inspired by the Whirling Derwish and the idea that wherever you turn you will see God. In my own personal journey, I found the 12 step program, and it is there that I found the connection to God, as I understand him – always loving and understanding.
My work on Motiva has allowed me to bring to light the essence of my belief. It brings together and unifies, through a multi sensory experience, prayer and dance, and the earth and sky.
